I think we all have field service PTSD. I hated it with a passion (even though I was the wife of a MS and had to maintain a certain front so as not to discourage others ). Thank god we're free from that!!!

One time someone came up with the brilliant idea of letter writing to get in time. We hand wrote each one instead of photocopying because it took longer.
Once I offered to work apartments by myself and just stood in the hall while the others worked the floor above, silently cracking up to myself.

We did it that way for such a long time. Then some zealous person asked an elder if we should be using some other headcovering, so we had to keep some idiotic doily in the kh. A doily for a table!
