Congrats on that, Strymeckinrules!! As you said, working in/under/behind the dash is ALWAYS a pain-in-the-rear...

You have nothing to fear from examining your beliefs - The Watchtower

    hahahahahahaha thats priceless.

    Seriously ban the little prick.

I'm all for free speech but I have to say, I 100% agree with Cofty here, enough is enough. Big copy and paste jobs from the watchtower without making an actual point is too much. I read a post on Marvin's blog recently where he's said that he deleted someone's comment because it was just a silly copy and paste job, he did say he invites discussion but not big copy and paste jobs and no point making.

If I was a moderator I'd be inclined to give him a warning and if he/they didn't enter proper discussion but continued with the propaganda then it would be time to leave.

I may be in the minority, but I personally think that the more people who quote the WT, the more ridiculous it looks - particularly when our members pick it apart and thrash it to bits so well. People like Mankkeli end up looking silly and if their agenda is to turn people back to the WTS, they fail miserably which in turn, is very entertaining. Of course in Mankkeli's case, he/she/it has been proven to be serial liar - and not a very good one. Which is also very entertaining...lol.

I'm all in favour of having apologists coming here making complete rses of themselves for visitors to see.

Strymeckinrules, I hate working under the dash. There is always a screw or a clamp or a clip that's holding in the part you want to work on, only you have to take out sixteen other things to get to it. I don't know why they can't build those things so they're easier to work on.

Zid and JeffT - you are absolutely correct. because of 1 bolt the whole dash came out. found some old parking stubs from the 90's.

my car is a homemade 2.0l awd turbo. pushing 14 psi, full turbo system approx 300hp. then there is my talon - almost 400whp.

if anyone is interested, i will continue to comment about my cars on this thread. much better subject matter.

    who else is into cars?

I can not beleive I started to read this guy's litratrash and decuded ya we could be in danger reading that literatrash, for example I lost all of my familly before they all died because my Mother and father read in to it so why should I continue all alone... and be decieved by the child abusers... The truth that hides the lie that they are child abusers...

We do not want your trash, so run off and shake the dust of your feet...

Should there be reciprocity? He can come here and just copy and paste WT articles. I'm bending over backwards to be fair but I see no theme. Just WT articles with no discussion or analysis. When we can go on JW.org, he should come here. What is good for goose is good for the gander. Of course, we can take the WT quotes and live (and have belly laughs). The Witness forum can't take anything.

Overall, I get annoyed with cuts and pastes from anyone. I am quite capable of reading online at the original site if I so choose. It would be nice if people wrote a casual, simple four or five sentence summary so we knew what to expect from the 200 page article, and then provided a clickable link. Short cuts and pastes don't bother me but when it becomes War and Peace length, I do get annoyed.

    > Hi Andy, I really need your advice on a serious problem: I have suspected for some time now that my wife has been cheating on me. The usual signs: if the phone rings and I answer, the caller hangs up; she goes out with the girls a lot. I try to stay awake to look out for her when she comes home but I usually fall asleep. Anyway last night about midnight I hid in the shed behind the boat. When she came home she got out of someone's car, buttoning her blouse, then she took her panties out of her purse and slipped them on. It was at that moment, crouched behind the boat, that I noticed a hairline crack in the outboard engine mounting bracket. Is that something I can weld or do I need to replace it ?

    (that is funny trueblue)

I used this reasoning below a lot in the ministry

You have nothing to fear from examining your beliefs in this way. In fact, the Bible encourages you to “make sure of all things” before accepting them as true. (1 Thessalonians 5:21) Toward the end of the first century C.E., the apostle John urged his fellow Christians: “Beloved ones, do not believe every inspired expression, but test the inspired expressions to see whether they originate with God.” (1 John 4:1) Yes, even though a certain religious teaching seems to be “inspired”—or to come from God—it is still the course of wisdom to examine the Scriptures to make sure before accepting it as true.—John 8:31, 32.

now Jehovahs witnesses have to apply this to their own organisation. Would you do this mankkeli?
