Just as well Van Morrison never took it up.
There's enough good musicians gone mad.
Crotch-grabbing, moon-walking Michael Jackson is a witness. LOL.

In 1975 a crack team of publishers was sentenced to death by a judicial commiteee. They promptly escaped from the cult and now live life on the run. If you have a problem ... and if you can find them ... maybe you can contact the A--postate Team"

Encouragement for the brothers came from many directions, even from the sea. Master Mariner John Smith, a captain of the White Star Line in 1912, would berth his ship and attend to company business as quickly as possible, devoting the remainder of his time to encouraging the brothers and delivering Bible lectures. Ecclesiae from Brisbane on the eastern seaboard to Perth in the west were united with their brothers throughout the country, as Smith carried news of the brothers’ activities from one to another.
Re Van Morrison - I must admit, I certainly wondered about him when I found out he'd recorded a song called "Kingdom Hall"...

Sad to say but Prince has become one also. Larry Grahm converted him. I actually saw the tour where Prince first took Larry Grahm out on the road with him. Almost everyone there thought that even musically Grahm was wasting Prince away. Little did they know exactly how much damage he was doing. If I really wanted to I could go see Prince again in a few weeks but I don't want to just because I've seen and heard how much he's changed now it not for the better.

Hi Apostle and VM44,
Is there a way to prove that this is the one and same man(Edward J Smith) that was the Titanic capt? I did a search, but couldn't come up with anything definitive.
Pat
(But John Smith very common name....)

Captain E.J. Smith
Titanic's maiden voyage would be commanded by Edward J. Smith, a notable and experienced captain, having over two million miles logged on White Star liners. He was celebrated by both crew and passengers, and was even called by some the "Millionaire's Captain." Smith was transferred to Titanic from her sister Olympic, for what he expected to be his final voyage before retirement. At sixty-two, and twenty-six years with the White Star Line, Titanic's first Atlantic crossing would be his last.
