to even be able to HAVE an opinion, belief, thought, position, perception... including one(s) that might differ from others'... AND to state it? While that may not be complete freedom... it's darn close, IMHO...

    Just sayin'...

    Peace to you all!

I also love my days with the Jehovah's Witnesses. Because of them I have a very solid opinion. One that will not change.

What is it? Truth can not and should not be altered.

LOLOLOL!, dear N.Drew (the greatest of love and peace to you, dear one!). I actually meant apart from religion... and perhaps on JWN, though - LOLOLOLOL! But, yeah, there's that, too!

    Peace, dear one!

It is only when we fear to speak...that our truth is lost !

Even though it is probably time to change this sites name, LOL!, I think that what we have here, this amazing blend of different views and being able to dicuss and debate them ( usually in a civil manner), is quite amazing and that we are truly blessed to be able to do that.

I many not always agree with other viewes but I am facinated about them and why people have them and where those views came from and what they are based on.

    Agreement is irrelevant.

    The whole experience is amazing.

    dear PSacramento...

you said: "Agreement is irrelevant"...then that would make "debate" of little or no practical value wouldn't it?

    Wonderful indeed.

I must confess that forums like this allow for debate on religious opinions so I have debated, but in person I rarely do such a thing. Everyone is entitled to their beliefs and opinions. I enjoy my ex-JW friends, be they Christians, Buddhists, Jews (I know one closely) or atheists.

Merry Christmas, Happy Hanuka (spelling, sorry), Happy Kwaanza, Festive Festivus, and a Happy New Year

Myself, I exchange gifts because everyone does it in late December. I celebrate Secular Christmas, but will gladly refer to it as Festivus if that offends anyone who wants Christ to remain in Christmas.
