After seeing most of the season unfold, I am going to make my prediction who will be in the Super Bowl this year. After seeing the play of most teams I am ready to go out on a limb.

    Here is the official prediction:

The Super Bowl will have the Green Bay Packers vs. the Baltimore Ravens. I would love to see the 49ers knock off the Pack, but I don't see it happening. I love Jim Harbaugh, but they need a different QB. Baltimore can get there with their defense, but it ill not take them all the way. Flacco vs. Rodgers? GB wins.

Final score: Packers 27, Ravens 13.

I think it will be the Green Bay Packers vs. Denver Broncos.

The reason I say Denver is not because they're such a great team but because of Tim Tebow. All he does is win. And he does it without style and finesse. Some of those games he came back to win at the end was some of the ugliest plays I've ever saw but yet somehow he pulled them off.

No team that I've seen yet can hope to compete with the Packers in the skill department.

So it's going to take a team such as the Broncos that are unconventional (and hell let's face it, most of the time they don't even know what they're going to do) to take the Pack by surprise with plays they're not expecting or practiced for.

But I'd like to take this time also to give a big shout out to a team that has both impressed me over the year as well as let me down when I was counting on them the most. And that is none other than the Atlanta Falcons. StoneWall is still rootin for you guys even tho I know you haven't got a chance in hell to get to the super-bowl and at this time it'll be fortunate if you make the play-offs.

So I'll end this with Go you dirty birds. GO YOU HOTLANTA FALCONS !!!!!!!

    SW,

It is luck, and stupid plays (Marion Barber), that got the Broncos so far. If they get to the SB, I may believe in God again. Tim Tebow runs well, but sucks as a QB.

Little Jesus out in the first round, if the Broncs even get there.

The Falcons are impressive this year. Even with injuries, they keep the ball rolling.

    BTW, my favorite teams are:

    1. The Colts - need I say more.

    2. The Browns - another sad story.

    3. Whoever plays the Cowboys - Jerry Jones is a dick.

    4. The Niners.

    My Favorite teams

    1. Atlanta Falcons

    2. Carolina Panthers

    3. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

    4. Miami Dolphins

    My least favorite teams

    1. New England Patriots

    2. Green Bay Packers

    3. Pittsburg Steelers

    4. S.F. 49'ers (mainly because they used to be in same division with Atlanta years ago and that sucked during Montana and Young days at QB)

Wonder if it's just coincidence that my favorite teams are all from the south. hmmm got me to thinking now that I look at my list.

Two teams will make it, but instead of playing they will just let Tim Tebow set there and kick, throw and catch each ball. As this is God's will.

Green Bay is a given in the NFC barring a crazy injury, although it's very possible NO could get them.

The AFC is more nuanced and is up for grabs. Denver is hot right now, so is Pittsburgh, and you can't count out New England. The Ravens are suspect to me, and I don't think they have it in them.

I predict that the Minnesota Vikings will not be there.

New England and Denver face off this week. I predict the winner of that game will also be in the SuperBowl for the AFC. Tebow and Brady both know how to pull it out in the 4th quarter, and make no mistake, this will be perhaps one of the best 4th quarter games of the season.

I think NE will win this one, and go on to clinch the AFC title in a few weeks. GB will, barring any unforseen injury, go undefeated, and will win the NFC title.

SB prediction: GB wins by 4 in a battle of the air.

JRK- Hey buddy, great thread ! As much as I love my S.F. 49ers, I definitely agree with you. They can't win a Super bowl with a quarterback like Smith who cannot score touchdowns or improvise in the red zone ( inside 20 yd.line ) Field goals somehow don't win championships. LOL !

I even think the 49ers will be lucky to win in the 1st round against a wild card team actually. Because Smith can't improvise plays. The 49ers better hope New Orleans stumbles so they can finish with the same record or better so they can get the bye week. I don't see that happening either. I doubt New Orleans will stumble , unless they meet the Packers in a NFC Championship game. Even then- it would be a close game with Rogers & Brees shooting it out, something like 37-34 Packer finish.

O.K. To the point, my prediction for the Super Bowl ? Green Bay 35 New England 28 . I believe that will be a shootout between two great quarterbacks as well

Green Bay over New England or Pittsburgh. I'm sort of leaning towards the Patriots.

Little Jesus out in the first round, if the Broncs even get there.

The Broncos will make the playoffs, but only by default. Someone has to win their division, and they're in the best position to do it. They will be ousted in the first round, though. Tebow's limited skill set will be exposed by a good team.
