I just found this brilliant psychodelic instrumental cover of Incense and Peppermints. It is the epitomy of groovy.

Yeah and share you psychodelic favorites and covers please. Pictures of psychodelic and mod people, cars and fashion would be pretty hip to share.

Are you a Traffic fan? They were my most favorite British band when I was a teenager in the mid 1970's.

Traffic was great. I used to see Jefferson Airplane at the Fimore East. My opinion is that airplane does not hold up as well as Traffic. I saw Jimi Hendrix at an antiwar benefit. He was the biggest name and slated to perform last. It was a school night. We waited hours and hours for him. Finally, Pete Yarrow of Peter, Paul, and Mary came out and performed and spoke to the crowd to calm us down. Henrix emerged at 4 am. He was so wrecked on drugs he could not perform. Bummer. Very angry concert goers.

I recall the light shows at the Filmore. We thought they were so sophisticated and cool. Now, they are so dated. It is hard to imagine how daring they were.

    Traffic holds up very well.

Look at how Sgt. Pepper's stands out after all these decades. The WHO had some pscyhedelica.

BOTR, that is so cool that you got to go see Jimi and Airplane and got to go the Fillmore East. I love Humble Pie's Rockin' the Fillmore. They have stood the test of time, too.

JRK, I love Canned Heat. They are fun to sing on road trips.
