Does he say if that estimate includes Australian Aboriginals?
Rough figures...These do NOT factor in any death rates!!
Double it every 50 years is a very reasonable average.
930 / 50 = 18.6 round that up to 19 for easier maths, ...2^19 = 500,000 (18.6 would be about 400,000 btw in my head)
Double it instead every 40 years = 2^23.5 = about 12,000,000
So it is VERY easy to get into millions in the time span, BUT, there are many buts.... I'm not saying played out that way, I'm just saying the numbers ARE feasible.
Last figure should have been 2^23.25 = about 10,000,000 , ...but who cares about a few mill right?
Didn't god in genesis already have a man and woman created to populate the planet??.
Egypt, Syria had civilizations ongoing at the time of Adam's supposed creation, now what.
The bible is almost total bollocks thats what... Certainly never intended to be taken LITTERALLY by the original writers, eg story of Jonah, Job, Creation, some of the bizarre tales of the prophets (finding the axe in the water anyone?!). Can't believe I was so stupid as to take it as the unerring word of God.
Estimated world population at the death of Adam
-1
World population in 2370 BC = 8
I would offer that it didn't/doesn't matter, dear jam (peace to you, dear one!)... because only 8 human souls survived the deluge. So, 2,000 or 2 million... or more... either way... the "count" that counts should start with the generations after Noah. IMHO, of course.
Peace!
