The questions were frustrating because they didn't allow for a spectrum, it was all or nothing.

Agreed, it's far too black and white, and in some cases completely unrealistic. Here's my results, but if someone were to ever ask me, I'd tell them I swing more conservative than liberal.

You Are 35% Conservative, 65% Liberal

Social Issues: 75% Conservative, 25% Liberal

Personal Responsibility: 25% Conservative, 75% Liberal

Fiscal Issues: 50% Conservative, 50% Liberal

    Ethics: 0% Conservative, 100% Liberal

Defense and Crime: 25% Conservative, 75% Liberal

Fiscal Issues: 100% Conservative, 0% Liberal

    Ethics: 50% Conservative, 50% Liberal

Defense and Crime: 100% Conservative, 0% Liberal

These questions were not very well thought out. That may be the desired effect however.

I call Bullshit on this one. I just took the test again, gave the same answers, and got a slightly different score.

It went from 75%-25% to 70%-30%.

I suspected this from some comments above. The whole concept is bogus - just like "Who is the world's most beautiful woman", "what is the best tasting Scotch Whiskey", "what was the best Ferrari ever made", and other silly quizzes that just create a noise level without creating any true meaning.

I couldn't bring myself to take it because the response would not be an accurate take on what I think. Take for example the first question about the environment being absolutely more important than business. I might disagree with that to some extent, however if you took the exact opposite (we have no responsibility toward the environment) I would stronly disagree with that.

Or the gay marriage question. I think that as a purely religious function marriage ought not to be a government funcion of any sort. Or the immigration question, illegal aliens entering the country is an enforcement issue not a policy issue.

It was a stupid set of questions. And whoever wrote it can't spell.
