A sister who lived in a local cong was dying and so she decided to get ready for this by preparing all the food for her funeral.
She spent a lot of time baking cakes, quiches and making sandwiches etc and filled the freezer with these so that the brothers and sisters could remember her at the get together after the funeral talk.

would you have eaten anything? I didnt. Or is it just me?

I have no response to that

    This is just plain weird!

I wouldn't have wanted to eat it.I can't tell you why either.
    It's just creepy.

You would think she would have expended that last bit of energy on the "all important" preaching work, to make sure Jehovah remembered her.

Instead she chose to make sure she was remembered in death by her congregation, family and friends.

Why didn't she dig the grave while she was at it?

Depends on how hungry I was, and how it tasted

How bizarre...and I don't think I would have eaten it...I'd go for the fresh stuff lol.

I do believe in being prepared...but I don't think I'd go that far with it...but then again....most JWs I know are rather eccentric in their own way. Now that I look back...I don't think any I knew were all that 'normal'.
