I don't see much value in Facebook b/c I am ever conscious someone against my interests can mine it for information. I only post happy, superficial things. It is hard for me to manage it successfully. I only write what I would write in a 7th grade yearbook. There seems to be no true communication going on. LinkedIn seems superior. I found a great group. Members had unique insights and info. Unfortunately, I did not want anyone knowing of my interest so I dropped the group as though it were a hot potato.
I am taking computer classes now. The students spend all the time on FB rather than listen to the instructor. Bad manners IMO. Well, when he became monotous, guess who glanced at FB, too?
