"W" is still toxic.

It will be interesting to see if Bush and Cheney are invited to speak at the NRC. I hope so, it would be a good time and place to serve them with subpoenas.
The GOP seems to have caught an illness that I believed was only carried by Dems. Play to your base and lose the general election. The more they let blood in the primaries, the more presidential Obama looks - even tho he is black(horror) and was born on Uranus.
President Bush was just interviewed by a host from the Hoover Institute. 'Awesome' was his key term for both being President and for his retirement.
The interview can be seen on youtube.
The Baby Bush presidency was such a fail that it has ruined acceptance of the GOP for those of the younger generation that have not checked their brains at the door. His involvement in any campaign might fire up some of the old people who vote GOP out of habit, but will drive younger voters away.
Never underestimate politicians to wave a magic wand and hope people forget. GOP leader Grover Norquist is already using the phrase- 'The New Republican Party'.
If the Republicans were smart, they keep GW far away as possible, people might remember that GW at one time had the least percentage of the
support by the greater public in recent memory.
Not to mention Sarah Palin.

He's like nuclear waste - toxic long after he's buried.
