JBean,
I completely understand what you are saying, I feel the same way but thanks for being open-minded because everything needs to be looked at and I tell you that this work demands to be considered with of course no demands from you except to use your whole mind, your whole heart. I really have to go now or my wife will kill me. Sorry if I come across as dogmatic, I don't mean to, it is just that their is so much I want to tell you all that I don't where to begin.
All JWs have already been disfellowshipped!

Pablo,
Welcome to the board.
For my money, I have a hard time believing that in order to be saved I have to spend a good portion of my life slogging thru this unbelievably boring information.
God has given man a conscience, if you even choose to believe in God. Our obligation is to do no harm and to leave the world a better place than we we came in.
Period.
Having my own family now, I can honestly tell you I would never entertain spending the oodles and oodles of time at ANY church that my parents spent at the Kingdom Hall. For WHAT purpose? To convince me that God loves me?
OK, I believe that. Now, what else do I need to do, in one short sentence please, to *earn* my free gift of salvation that arose from Jesus Sacrifice?

Querido Pablo,
you will want to hear this if you have any interest in the Bible, it will blow your mind,
This is the point where I stopped reading your post, honey. Don't you Protestants ever get tired of trying to square the circle? Spawning sect within sect within sect ad infinitum? Aren't there enough Protestant churches and Biblical interpretations already? Why can't you just choose one and stay there?
Never debunk anything until you have looked at it all,
ROTFLMAO The phrase "Biblical interpretation" in your post was a self-debunker, darling.
the Catholics took the bible away from the eyes of the congregation
The Catholics were onto something, judging from people like you.

Joseph,
Fine, you don't have to look at it. Surely all conclusions made by all Bible researchers throughout history are interpretations. All I'm saying is that this interpretation is worth a look if you are interested. I'm not even saying that this is the answer, just that it is worth looking at because it makes alot of sense by really getting to the gritty detail. If you have found a religion that satisfies your needs then great - I wish you luck, but I haven't found one yet and I still have alot of questions still before I give up on religion and God and I suspect that there are many who post here that feel the same, if there are not, tell me and I won't bother you again. -

Pablo,
It seems that you were a JW, from your new direction. For JWs, in fact for all people of various sects, it is very difficult (differing-cult?) to abandon the bonds of time spent to consider it just a learning experience. In all the JW doctrine I have studied, I don't find it truthful (and without Him was nothing made that Was made). The Faithful and Discreet Slave of the JWs was 'born' at the sanctification of Charles Taze Russell in 1884Tishri, when the greater congregation of Ephesus began.
Russell was a confused guy who stumbled at his brothers deeds, looked around and around, and at pyramids and things not understood by common people, and came up with his own logic, which is founded in condemning christendom - gee, an easy following made there - aren't we better than them? is all he had to say - it's crap with a capital C.
He looked at the writings and, not seeing, he made his own stories up, and he looked at the writings and not, seeing he made his own stories up, and, he looked at the writings not seeing he made his own stories up!Certainly unless you wake up, I shall come as a thief, and you will not know at all at what hour I shall come upon you.
I think you've got that right.
----------------And Joseph,
I think the Catholics were onto something - the doctrines that people came up with freaked them out. I don't think they could bear seeing their fellow men like that. Still, I'm sure God didn't want them to kill over it, but rather, be killed.Bang

Okay, so you are not interested. I thought this was a forum for Bible Research so I thought you'd be interested in discussing anything new that can shed light on the convoluted books of the Bible. It's a shame that you vilify something you have not even bothered to look into. I am not a JW, never have been officially, just grew up with it for the first 12 years of my life, I'm nearly 40 now and if I haven't got over it yet, well I'm in trouble then, am I not? Anyone who is interested can see more at http://www.bibledecoded.com/index.html. It's a huge site but you can order a free book which is basically the whole website (about 500 pages).

hello
We are not xjw's, we are x watchtower,Jehovah never abandoned us, your quite right
we still love him thats why we are out.Disfellowshiped.
Here is something to meditate on
Jehovah's Love is far greater than we realise
Remember the individual who asked Jesus " how many times should I forgive my Brother.
seven times? the answer "no seventy times seven" Remember Jesus stated " he that has
seen me has seen the father because we both work as one. -

This after posting the longest, and second most incomprehensible post in history.

Let me see if I get this. The Catholics denied the Bible to their adherents by forbidding them to read it. Granted. The WTBS has effectively done the same thing by EXPLAINING every detail of it to fit their concept. Granted. How are YOU denying us access to the Bible? Are you not doing just what you accuse the WTBS of doing, only with a mathematician's explanation instead of Brooklyn's?
Why is God unable or unwilling to allow anyone who truly wants to learn to pick up a Bible and read it for himself?

I'll give you a thumbs up, Pablo. Very interesting stuff. Could you put all that into one sentence though?
I did not understand all of it, but I say again, interesting.
The Bible is a very complex piece of work. It has been translated many different ways. Is this just another translation?
Who's to say that there werent just some awesome Greek and Hebrew authors 2000 years ago?
I do believe in God and do believe in the word, but so many questions...Thanks for reading the above and remember, always add pepper to your vomit BEFORE you lap it back up. mmmmm good
