Silly! It's a biblical number with incredible significance! You see ... 2 and 4 represent the 2nd and 4th book of the bible, specifically Exodus (6 letters) and Numbers (7 letters). 6 x 7 = 42. If you take the inverse of that (representing the flip flop of doctrines), you get 24. See? It makes perfect sense.

Obviously, this would apply to those who called upon the elders for help in kicking there porn habit. This could potentially be documented in some way and thus, they (the elders) would actually know if you watched porn in the last two years.

Still, this requirement simply means that 99% of the brothers submitting to this course will have lied on their form.

I'm imagining this scenario in a lot of JW Elder and Ministerial Servants' households:

Ok, the scenario:

- reinstated from a disfellowshipped state (is that a "state"??) say in 2010. But you continue to watch porn.

- In 2013 you are appointed MS or Elder

So, now you review the application and need to consider if you have watched porn within the last 24 months.

If yes, it means you as an elder or ms, you watch porn.

In other words, all ms and elders that do not apply might be guilty for watching porn......
