Can you think of one single thing that set them apart
from other religious organization. Witnessess love to
boast how different they are then any other religious org.
For example, they are not unique in the door to door work or
neutrality (military). In fact I could not come up with one single
thing that separate them from some group on this earth that
practice the same thing.
So many things that they claim exclusivity in are one upped by the Mennonite and Amish people.
No, Jehovah's Witnesses aren't unique...
Though they certainly delude themselves into believing that they are...
The anti-blood-transfusion stance is one-upped by Christian Scientists...
That whole silly belief that "Jehovah" chose THEM out of hundreds of Christian religions, is actually quite common... Nearly all religions start out with SOMEone who believes that "god" called THEM especially and/or chose THEM because they were so much more "righteous" than the surrounding or currently-existing religions...
Their so-called 'pacifist' stance is not unique, though their brain-dead attitude against alternative service - which FORCES young male Jehovah's Witnesses into serving prison time - see Mr. Falcon's recent thread on persecution - may be unique in its stiff-necked resistance to a reasonable compromise...
Even their pedophilia problem is not unique...

Just last night, a new episode of Family Guy was devoted exclusively to Christian Scientists, where Lois tries to save the baby boy of a friend who refused to get treatment for his cancer. Now, if only they would have an episode about JW's

They've mentioned JW's in the past on this show, where the "Evil Monkey" in Chris' closet becomes a JW (he opens the closet door and has a WT and Awake in his hands) and JW's have been mentioned in at least one other episode. But not an entire episode like last night's about CS. Maybe it is coming? We can only hope...
They are unique in the constant repetition of the name "Jehovah", while omitting the term "The Lord". You might find that word used in other sects, but seldom in everyday conversation.

What other religious group has as much press for refusing blood than JWs?
There are even nuttier groups out there that shun all modern medical practices and rely soley on prayer, but they're more rare and don't get the press the WTS/JWs get over the blood issue.
They are unique in that they can still knock on doors with their head firmly stuck up their arse !
