That whole silly belief that "Jehovah" chose THEM out of hundreds of Christian religions, is actually quite common... Nearly all religions start out with SOMEone who believes that "god" called THEM especially and/or chose THEM because they were so much more "righteous" than the surrounding or currently-existing religions...
Their so-called 'pacifist' stance is not unique, though their brain-dead attitude against alternative service - which FORCES young male Jehovah's Witnesses into serving prison time - see Mr. Falcon's recent thread on persecution - may be unique in its stiff-necked resistance to a reasonable compromise...
