So much false reasoning. They have been practicing blood transfusions for thousands of years, and likewise, people have smoked various plants for thousands of years, and it is a lie for the Watchtower to indicate otherwise. Since neither are forbidden in the Bible, neither should be forbidden by a Christian religion.

I have that booklet on the Watchtower CD. I can email a copy of it to you if you wish.

JWs are loath to admit the a blood transfusion is nothing more than an organ transplant. Dr. Muramoto, a Kaiser foundation physician, nailed the Watchtower lawyer very publicly about this issue in several peer-reviewed, professional journals.

What makes this loathing so laughable is that Watchtower itself has published the statement in plain English saying, "[A] transfusion is nothing but a transplant". (See document at: http://marvinshilmer.blogspot.com/2011/09/watchtowers-deception-transplantation.html
TD also points to a source saying essentially the same thing.
