I presume this Scholar was either there personally, or that he can offer videotape?
I would say this so called scholar is an idiot who has completely researched this subject completely, very much like an idiot JWS scholar.

Except that I have never seen an idiot JW scholor who actually researched any subject completely.
The thing that will always kill me is, regardless what does it matter what he died on? I'm mean seriously, what does it matter? If one wants to make an issue over idolatry, or argue over the use of paraphernalia/artifacts during worship, that's one thing. Other than that to argue over whether it was an upright pole with or without a crossbeam is just as retarded as to argue over whether the wood was from a cedar or an oak tree.

George, you make way too much sense to still be a JW. Are you sure you fit in there?
Your post is very nicely put, with such great common sense!
(Speaking of the idolotry issue, which is a lable JWs like to lay onto cross supporters, I know JWs who idolize the Watchtower by wearing a small Watchtower icon as a necklace, just like Church members wear the cross, and they can't see it's the same thing.)
Very interesting link. Many thanks.
He's been saying this for a while.

Sorry got side tracked, there for a second.
In agreement with what NoRoomforGeorge said.
In spite of the fact that there has been ancient artifacts discovered that shows that the ancient Roman's crucifix
was indeed two pieces one crossing over the other, irregardless what information can be derived from the bible.
