    Watchtower’s Gunpoint

Today I uploaded a new article to my blog addressing what Watchtower self-describes as “a dreadful power.” This article features telling statements made by Watchtower itself, and astounding observations shared by well credentialed authorities.

My article is titled Watchtower’s Gunpoint and is available at: http://marvinshilmer.blogspot.com/2012/02/watchtowers-gunpoint.html

Marvin, I have just read your article and want to let you know that I thought it was extremely well written. You have shown quite clearly that the WTS uses a very potent form of emotional blackmail in order to keep members within its organization. It is, in my opinion, the type of psychological abuse which can drive some people to suicide. Thanks for taking the time to write on this subject.

It is very effective to use the words of the Society's own publications to hold a mirror up to their "values" and compare those "values" to

a humane, forgiving, uplifting Christianity whose sole purpose is to give succor to those who badly fail.

Imagine an emergency room that turns away the wounded and dying in preference for scrapes and bruises!

And what is the great failing of those shunned by the Watchtower's standards?

By Jehovah's Witness standards the worst crime you can commit is asking this question:

IF it is THE TRUTH....why does it keep changing?

Terry, the mastermind apologists that know they haven't a leg to stand on say "indeed, the truth doesn't change, it is our understanding of it."

If only you saw the liberties and double-standards they take when I discuss this with them!

This would be like a Doctor prescribing a drug that turns out to cause cancer and saying, "It wasn't my prescription that gave you cancer it was the medicine." Once you have cancer you live with the consequences.

What does the Watchtower Society hold its members accountable for if not its current understanding of Truth?

It is all the flock has to go by. Plus, they are not allowed to find fault with the reasoning behind it--especially when the teaching turns out to be fallacious.

Jehovah's Witnesses do not live by TRUTH. They merely follow the whims, conjecture, amateur chronologies, crackpot interpretations of the Watchtower leaders REGARDLESS of the accuracy or harm.

The Governing Body says "Frog" and the Kingdom Halls jump.

The so-called false religious denominations were teaching things all along which JW's denied. Later, the JW's were taught a change to the previously held FALSE teachings which Christendom had correct all along. Romans 13:1, for example. Jesus having a beard for another example.

But, it's not about what's True.

It's about pretending its True and just doing what your told no matter what.

The Governing Body must believe that it--itself IS the Holy Spirit. Why? Because to sin against IT is unforgiveable.

The WTS. has one single agenda and that is to lure and coerce people toward the organization so that they can be manipulated and exploited

into the further distributing the organization's published works. Its quite obvious the JWs are not preaching the bible's gospel but they're

preaching the Watchtower Corporation's gospel, the two are indifferent to one another.

Under a guise of keeping their organization clean they've instilled its own disciplinary policy, not modeled after the instructional teaching in

the bible but on their own impressing agenda. In other words, going beyond what it written in the bible.

The consequences of this DFing policy have been truly damaging on a individual personal level for many, driving some to commit suicide,

destroying families apart and so on. They simple and apathetically don't care as long as their organization remains strong, intact and in power.

In this sense the WTS. does have familiarity with sociopathcal behavior in its structured operations and its interactions with people.

For a better analogy think of an emergency room that has a sign on the door that says "healthy people only." The response of the WTBS to a problem is to shoot the wounded and carry on as if nothing happened.

Thats a very good point JeffT

In today's modern day society, the thinking now is to surround people who are in trouble and help them recover

or adjust their behavior, not to totally avoid them or shun them as it were.

There is a backwards ignorant precedent being instituted by the WTS. in this regard.
