Is the Memorial actually a Satanic ritual?

There are many who do not call it the memorial, they call it the rejection. That really is what it is, the rejection of His sacrifice. "We know you suffered, but I'll pass, the GB says no, doesn't matter what you say, they say no, so I'll pass, thanks anyway."

This is all for recruitment; the invitation campaign is to get buts in the seats for the impressiveness of a full house and then the main attraction, the rejection ceremony. This three ring circus is all a showy display to hopefully impress someone into becoming a sheeple, I mean magazine pusher, I mean witless.

I wonder how many go home and have their own “memorial” afterwards because they feel guilty for not partaking when they know they should’ve?

    Interesting question.

Do you know of JWs who did this?

    How widespread was it?

You are not only rejecting Jesus but the one who sent him forth to be the sacrifice.

You have to remember your old Fred Franz Wt. study lessons for this one. Numbers 18 among others were his template for the exclusive meal for priests.

You, lowly other sheep publisher, are a wood gatherer.

    Hey Faithfulbrother!

From a believer's perspective, yes indeed.

(Matthew 23:13) . . .“Woe to YOU, scribes [religion scholars] and Pharisees [religionists], hypocrites! because YOU shut up the kingdom of the heavens before men; for YOU yourselves do not go in, neither do YOU permit those on their way in to go in.

Matthew 23:13...where Jesus makes an ass of himself and shows he may not have even been a Jew. The Pharisees and Sadducees were probably the good guys.

@Ding: I was just thinking out loud; but I do wonder who else might do their own observance.

I'm thinking of doing my own this year because it seems like the right thing.

Then again, I could be wrong too.

firstly its important to realise satan appears very rarely in the ot. eve the tree and eatting the apple, was all started because of a talking snake, at no time is satan mentioned here. the only real time he appears is during the story of job.

another so called appearance is the reference to lucifer. the nt scripture is actually talking about venus the morning star. the nt is full of symbolism involving the sun and the planets. if we read the heavenly lord texts and think SUN we can see the text is just celebrating the sun up in heaven, in the clouds, the light of the world, who is preceeded by lucifer aka venus and so on.do a search for --bible astrotheologoy-- or --jesus sun-- theres a lot in the bible that is nothing more than some ancient men admiring the sun.

if one searches other pagan sun gods we can find many other similarities with the memorial. all these sun gods all had big celebrations on easter the spring solstice and xmas the winter solstice.
