Terry; Right on the mark again. So much for identifying the "true" religion by the love shown to the aged and penniless it created. They could care less. A shameful mess created by a manmade religion too busy saving it's own ass. Those of you elderly still in, you have my sympathy.

Official WT policy is to use all available government resources first. Irony is they pay no taxes. Bethel heavy weights have nothing to worry about for the rest of thier live.

I know for a fact that there are a lot of people in their 30's, 40's and 50's who are still in the borg that are NOT listening to the BS about not preparing financially for the future/retirement. They are quietly "storing up treasures on earth" cause subconsiously they know the big A and WT are BS. I'm not speaking of every single Jdub but a good 75% of them in that age group. At least thats what I see in my area.

Terry, didn't know that about the family you used as an example. Shameful and I'm speechless. Suppose I shouldn't be, since this practice is organization wide.

The night my father died there wasn't a jw to be found. If the hospital hadn't called and told me to get my butt up there Dad would have died alone. You see there was a person on the hospital staff who knew he was my father and she gave my number to the nurses station.

The wtbts is nothing more than carrion feeding off a dead carcass. Done here, lets move to the next. Sewer rats...

was so well organized as J.W. when hurricanes hit in 2004."Can I say bullshit it's AWAYS the RED CROSS

and salvation army that you hear about all across the news channels.

How many meals are provided for the poor in the United States and other countries by the faithful slave?

The Apostle Paul worked his hands to the bones, while giving charity to the needy, where is this practised?

According to the Watchtower, who is the Samaritian, and who was his neighboor, and does this charity still exist today?

Is there a methodology of checking on the elderly, infirm and poor, how does the Faithful Slave make sure these men and women

of faith, are taken care of, both spiritually and physically?

The most insidious and poisonous blowback from an END TIMES obsession in this religion is that the FUTURE is fantasy only and not a REAL EVENT which requires actual preparation in a practical way.

I began to notice in my former "best" JW friend who use to speak to me (even though he knew he shouldn't) a genuine squirmy discomfort about his own old age prospects. His health was not good. He was overweight and had diabetes. His own parents were in bad shape. He was working just to maintain insurance for himself and his wife. His conversations were flavored with little hints and asides that told me his faith was really being tested.

It was as though he had invested in a bogus real estate deal! His sunk cost had him in so deep he felt he could not afford to abandon the religion.

The feeble logic came down to "What IF this is the true religion and I throw away all I've done so far by leaving?"

This is pure JW thinking! As though he had been EARNING his salvation!

This photo was published in the Proclaimers book published in 1993.

Note was is on the sign.

"Millions Now Living Will Never Die."

"This means what it says - It is a Fact - Investigate"

I would like to find the man shown in the photograph today and ask him if it really did mean what it said, was it really a fact?

Who is held accountable for the "False Advertising" promoted by the Watchtower?

The "Millions" campaign was not about "truth" or "facts", but was simply an advertising ploy to recruit more members.
