They've been laying the groundwork to slither out of that "prophecy", for a while now - looks like at least 6 months....

I think it's a Catch 22 for WTS.

If they publish the number, everyone sees the ridiculous increase in the "annointed" who are supposed to be declining in number.

If they do NOT publish the number, a few of the (smarter) Rank & File will realize it really is an issue for them. And that will cause questions to be asked that no one really wants to answer. Think about the last answer published on the subject which basically said all or most of the "newly annointed" are mentally ill or confused by their former religion. [Side note: No one wonders how they got past the 3 sessions of doctinal questions and still did not understand DO NOT DRINK THE WINE -- some quality teaching program they got there!]

I say the increase in partakers will be double the increase in publishers. Some will be those in high positions in the bOrg (COs DOs Writing Dept Staff) who are hoping to get tapped for new GB appointments.
