Just to clarify, we hadn't even officially gotten the sale yet. We were supposed to get it last week. I think he tried to call her to close it before me.

.... and rob you of your clients, and your commission. There's a knife sticking out of your back, and I would take the earlier advice. Contact the client after a suitable waiting period (end of the week), let the BOSS know all that's going on ... and don't share ANY information with this co-worker.
