...well that's what the law says. To today is my oldest son's 18th birthday. Part if me is slightly incredulous cuz it really doesn't seem like 18+ years, they've flown by. My babies are growing up and I hope to enjoy watching them fly.

Congrats. My nest never got empty - my only child turned into a flaming idiot who dumped her beautiful children on my doorstep whilst she learned new and improved ways to evade the law - eventually ending in prison.
So, I have a 12 year old, and a seven year old. I wouldn't trade them for all the gold in the world - but at times, I wish I could have that empty nest feeling I never had.
