I was driving my wife home this evening and she said out of the blue that she wants to do holiday lights this year.
I didn't make a big deal out of it, but I'm still trying to pry my jaw up out of my lap.
This is not typical JW behavior... Is it??

Nope, that's not typical. Baby steps.
No - absolutely not typical. In fact, it's downright apostate - so congratulations!
So it was the lights . . . ??
I doubt it . . . there's bigger fish lurking in that pool.
Perhaps there's a crack in the rose tint of the glasses ?
I would think this is a good thing. Congrats.
No!!!! You need to move this forward with questions like what kind of lights the tasteful white ones or the tacky colored ones.

Love the illustrations! I guess it can be said......and it begins. Congratulations, TD!
Why not put the lights up now before she changes her mind....LOL...
Run with it! Thats how my buddy got he and his family out. One day they were going and then they all had a talk... bam the kids playing baseball the girl has real friends and mom and dad are buying christmas presents. It was amazing to watch.
If she's talking about holiday lights now, I'd start with green St. Patrick's Day lights. Then add some colored ones for Easter lights. Etc. By December, you'll be up to National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation level...
