The pharisees were the continuation of a group that moses himself appointed. The wt and the nt uses the arguement that they had gone corrupt and needed replacing. As if ANY human institution EVER stayed pure. The pharisees were a legitmate institution; the christians were illigimate, the bastards, so to speak. The antchristian animosity that powerful jews today have is understandable, considering the above fact. Time for christians to have a good hard look at themselves and wake up to what they really are.
