Do Wicked Elders and Elderettes Think Jehovah Is Stupid?

Brother pathological liar has remained in his position (appointed by the holy spirit) for thirty years now. He has no problem lying under oath

(prayer before a judicial comitte, investigation) or slandering anyone who might stand up to his darkness. His wife is no better than her better (lessor)half.

Why benefit is there to be a elder, while you are activily lying or slandering the little sheep. I know the Society is desperate for elders and servants

(at what cost do you keep a bad man?),and this man has avoided many attacks against him, by lying, ducking and blamming others for his wicked

actions. So back to the original question, Why be an elder when you behavebadly, is it for business reasons, personal prestige or boredom? I do

know he gets off by making other elders that don't kiss his ass, move away or be deleted.

to put it simply, they arent worried because they know there is no jehovah, and thus no judgement ever. we see the same behaviour in the ot. practically ever hero if alive today would be a criminal of the worst kind, most definitely wanted by the fbi top ten or the united nations as a war criminal.

have a look at the poster boy king david. anyone and everyone he disliked for wahatever reason he tried to or did kill.'even on his death bed, his last words were to kill off some personal enemies. a little research shows he killed a lot of people, because he was ambitious and because he could. somehow jehovah didnt worry him. nowhere did david do a single good or kind thing. he was nothing we should copy.

the same is true of moses, aaron, jeremiah, isaiah etc. fact is its hard to find kindness anywhere in the ot.

what i dont get is why jesus would want to say or proclaim that king david was his ancestor. would you be proud if your ancestors included king david, stalin or hitler. somehow i doubt it.

MP, Jehovah did notice. For committing a murder, David was punished, even though he was the king. He was also not allowed to build the temple because of the blood he shed. At least the Bible writers were honest and did not hide the nasty bits. How often have we heard "power corrupts, absolute power corrupts absolutely". That goes for the GB and some elders as mentioned above. Like you said, blinded by their ambition. To come back to David, we should not measure his morality with our morality. Things were primitive in those days, and it was a case of kill or be killed. Would we have acted differently if we were in his situation? Jesus had to refer to David, because he had to identify himself, as well as a fulfillment of prophecy.

I used to wonder how many who associated did not really believe, i could not see how they could act the way they did and believe in God, also a good number seemed not to really think god was listening as they prayed for the congregation at meetings.

Formulaic hackneyed prayers that didn't ring true, actions that belie faith, I wonder how many of the 7mill. really believe ?

im sorry that punishment of david is bunk. david never built the templke because he was too preoccupied with murder. imagine if you or me murdered some ppl and then asked the judge to give us the punishment of not building a kh. that is absolutely nuts.

the bibnle writers were not honest they tried extremely hard to impress the elite, kings and priests could do anything, even ignore gods laws while the cvommonfgolk always got nzapped first time everytime they disobeyed. theres no truth there, the ot is about servitude and bhpayment of sacrifgice, money to the establishment.

btw after forty generations the time from david to jesus, everyone in israel was related. its basic math. guessing judea in jesus time had twoish million is significantly less that 2 ** 40. in fact there hve been studfies that show about 7% of all asians are have dna from genghis khan and thats just after 700 years.

given davids recorded history why would jehovah guide his prophets to state jesus would be a descendent of david? surely thats just wrong couldnt they pick a more worthy one, after jehivah is a loving god right ? the miracle would have been if jesus was nt related to david and not a jew. given the authors of mt and lk cant even count, one states forty gens the other about twenty five, are we to take their report as fact? either the records they copied are wrong ir they are liars.

MP, what you say is correct. But that was life in the olden days, and even more recently. You were either of the governing class, or you were a pleb, commoner, R&F. Sounds familiar? Even worse, if you were a servant or slave, your life would have been worth nothing. The kings surrounded themselves with soldiers, so they were virtually untouchable. They lived in fortified houses and castles and their word was law. Soldiers were paid from that which they could pillage from their enemies. There were added benefits. They could steal, rape, kill and take slaves. Remember, some of the prophets were highly unpopular when they criticised the rulers. Here I am thinking of Isaiah, Jeremiah and Ezekiel.

there was an elder in my congo that I always tried to avoid as much as possible because he would somehow find a way to latch on to me and dump all the congo's latest gossip on me as if I were a reporter for the National Enquirer... i don't know what the hell made him think that I like listening to his rants because my uncomfortable body language (whenever he carried on with his gossip) was so obvious... but somehow he would sneak up behind me in FS or in the hall and start firing away about how sister chatty can't keep her mouth shut during meetings or how sister sexy always went to the bathroom to check her hair (wtf? how does he even know that?)...

also, whenever someone got df'd, the entire congo knew every last detail of the wrongdoing before the next meeting... i have to wonder whether it was this elder who spilled the beans... he just couldn't control himself...

by the way, he was also collecting disability insurance while regular pioneering and was very open about it!!! wtf???

but at least he was appointed by holy spirit.

Alfred, your elder sounds very much like a dictatorial elder that I know of. He always had a lot to say about the sisters' underwear, especially the youngsters wearing G-strings. He complained to their parents. How the hell did he know that? He really had to look carefully to pick that up.

    David was punished?????

Was he, as a murderer and an adulterer given the punishment of death under the Mosaic Law, no clause exemption, think of any Jews that had similar treatment, no, they all died.

All of David's wives were raped, why were they punished for David's sin.

The baby died according to the WTS because it would have died IF David and Bathsheba had been executed as the Law required.

If David had been an elder, repentant or not, he would have been removed as an elder yet he remained king.

Blondie, David was a major cog in the machinery of God's purpose. Take David out, and the whole thing falls flat. Granted, I do spy an amount of favoritism there. David was God's blue-eyed boy. He would indeed get away with murder. But the insurrection of Absalom and all the heartache that followed were part of the punishment. Eventually David did die, thus paying for (all) his sins.
