I agree Amelia, of course he has a team of great researchers behind him, they will even speak in to his ear during the programme if needs be, so despite being a great polymath, he still needs his assistants !
Great clip though, and perhaps it will help add to the disquiet some believing Dubs feel deep down, cognitive dissonance does not last forever with all people, for some it gets too much , then they research.

He mentions the purple triangle in one of his novels Making History:
" pits a senior history professor against a doctoral student. The professor asks him if he knows which group of concentration camp inmates bore a purple triangle on their uniform. The student does not, and starts guessing. Was it Communists, Slavs, lesbians, Cossacks or anarchists? he asks. Then he gives up."
