Technically I am not an apostate, never being a jw, however I had to meet an elder once in a kh (long story) and I brought all my apostate literature (which was quite considerable! could hardly carry all of it!) with me and naturally I did not wear a dress but did wear my cross. I heard of a few other people doing this as well, bet they felt like doing some sort of cleansing after that huh? if they believed in that sort of thing, guess bleach would have to do.
Can A known Apostate enter A KH .

BOL, can you elaborate please ? " I also was aware one summer of the visiting guy from Bethel having armed security, apparently those guys think they are targets."

The Yukon, Oklahoma congregation seriously considered trying to get a court order to exclude myself and other members of my family from the kingdom hall out of fear that we would try to disrupt their silly meetings.
We had no such intention, of course. We just wanted out - and wanted to NEVER come back.
A little bird told me that they were told they were crazy by the lawyer they approached.

I started a thread a while back about someone who claims to have been kicked out of a Kingdom Hall for just saying he was a friend of mine.

It was about 5 years ago now, maybe longer but the city we went to convention withheld one every weekend for a month back to back during the summer months. The convention the week before ours there was a bomb threat made so they had heightened security. Whatever that’s worth. Anyway, one of the main guys who helped organize these wonderful events also happened to be my great uncle. He enlisted my brothers and I as being attendants during a special talk. The guy was from HQ, my memory fails but he could have been a member of the GB. Anyway, the guy arrived to the assembly hall minutes before it started he rolled up in an SUV jumped out and went in the back doors and straight to the stage then straight out after it was over. I/we had no idea who or what he was at the time our “mission” was to hold the emergency exit doors open so he could come in and get out quickly. We couldn’t hear his talk or into or anything and we found out after the fact from the guy we knew who was the planner that at least one of the guys traveling with him was armed. Apparently they positioned themselves on all 4 corners of the square stage that sat in the middle of a sports arena.

BoL Wow! Just like the Pope but without the bulletproof glass. I thought he'd trust in Jehovah and the angels.
