If you are a young person, you also need to face the fact that you will never grow old in this present system of things. Why not? Because all the evidence in fulfillment of Bible prophecy indicates that this corrupt system is due to end in a few years. Of the generation that observed the beginning of the 'last days' in 1914, Jesus foretold:'This generation will by no means pass away until all these things occur.' Therefore, as a young person, you will never fulfill any career that this system offers. If you are in high school and thinking about a college education, it means at least four, perhaps even six or eight more years to graduate into a specialized career. But where will this system of things be by that time?

    Paragraph 15

If you are approaching the end of
the schooling required of you, you may
find yourself in good health and with
    few responsibilities. Have you seriously
    considered entering the regular pioneer
ranks? No doubt, school counselors sincerely
believe that it is in your best interests
    to pursue higher education and
to plan for a secular career.Yet, their
confidence lies in a social and financial
system that has no lasting future.

I actually said to someone, "Show me what they gave you." and then went thru word by word showing them the WT wizardry at verbal deception. It worked! The potencial recruit said, "Wow, and I was actually starting to believe all this stuff. Thanks!" They then told the JW to take a hike.

ALL WT literature is full of clever deception. Show them in the literature they just got, then show them the Steve Hassan quote, "No legitimate group should ever need to resort to deception in the recruiting process." (or something to that effect)

Just do some research online. Pay attention to the education situation in the late 1960s. Witlesses in that time period were told that they didn't need to worry about getting old--today, someone that was college age in 1969 is more than 60 years old (they were born in 1951 or 1952). Remember they claimed that the end was coming in or around 1975, urging people to sell out and pious-sneer during those last days (it might have made sense if it was late 1974 and Armageddon was actually coming in late 1975). Then, after that scam, they blamed those who sold out for putting too much stock on a date.

Compare that with the rubbish they are putting out now. The time is reduced. The end is directly ahead. Don't waste your time with college. Pious-sneering is your career, unless you are planning on Beth Hell. (Or missionary work, or the Value Destroyer Training School in its mutant form). Despite that those who fell for the first scam in 1969 are now more than 60 years old (and those falling for the original 1874 are now dead), they are pulling that "You will never grow old in this system of things" rubbish.
