Really, I just can't sit through one of them wastefesta anymore. The last time I went to one, my wife had the dubious displeasure of all of her "friends" watching her watch me as my eyes about rolled out of my head.
There were more than a few parts on the program that took a lot of cheek biting because I wanted to burst out laughing.
The entire ass-em-bleed was so ridonculous.

The rhetorical strategy was pretty slick--divert attention away from the underlying, though unspoken question of "Why are they changing the meaning again?" to "Is it really that hard to understand?"

My wife, a couple of months ago, tried to corner me with this line of thought by asking me something along the lines of "If the truth is obvious and logical to her, why don't everyone else get it".....the veiled question being "this is the truth, you know this is the truth, why don't you believe anymore?".
The demo concludes w/him leaping to his feet to go tell his wife what their "new" schedule is going to be for the next month.
The mic just catches his wife (off stage) angrily exclaiming: "We're doing what! You promised you wouldn't pull that stunt again. I was looking forward to this vacation - the first one in ages too! You can forget about our date night for the next 6 months buster!"
