What are the unwritten rules and standards that make some people here cool, others not.
Saying "just be yourself" is a lie! I see many people being themselves who start an interesting thread and have 6 comments (5 being their own), while others post "Cheeseburgers" and the thread last for days. LOL.

It goes by Facebook rules except instead of boobs, popularity is increased by how cool your avatar is.
Having boobs doesn't hurt though.
One of the classic methods is to threaten to resign from the board - but that usually is anti-climactic.
If we like you, (even if only 10% of us like you) we will just ask you to come back.
better yet, start a thread that seems benign, then turn it about yourself, and call everyone haters
