yes
Am I supposed to add my own sugar?
Yes. It is like ordering coffee, although you can get it already sweetened in a lot of places.
They need to be more clear on that.
I don't carry packets of sugar in my car.
I don't think I was offered a choice, Botch.
Here in the Deep South, the default is sweetened ice tea.

You really should not be eating and drinking in your car.
Also, I have a question about Taco Bell:
You all claim to hate it, yet there's one on every corner.
I'm beginning to suspect it is nothing more than a Mafia money-laundering operation.
What's up with that?
Actually, I have alot of questions......
Am I supposed to add my own sugar?
You must be up North...
In agreement with LWT... down South iced tea is brewed with the sugar already added. It's the only accepted way...

You're obviously hanging around a better class of US citizen. Good for you!
Palm if you order it at a Cracker Barrel or Logans, which are southern owned, you order sweet tea. They will bring you sweetened tea. Most northern restaurants, even from southern chains, will not know how to make good ice tea. We call it ice tea down south. McDonalds has sweet tea and I think Long John Silvers. Don't get that raspberry tea restaurants sell that tell you, "We don't have any sweet tea, but we do have raspberry flavored tea." That is usually instant tea and it's horrid.
