I hope he finds peace. The sadness I feel from his expressions and demeanor make me hurt for so many others like him that are wrestling within as a result of the Jdub influence.

Wow! He is really GOOD! Notice how the titles of many of his Pieces have to do with his experiences in the Org.

I would love to save up and buy an original!

Thanks for letting us know about this talented young man who will most likely go far in the Art World

Here's a link to his Facebook...

    Hello Everyone,

I am Jess Black's friend and manager. I want to thank all of you and so many others for the overwhelming amount of support he received while preparing for this exhibition. It started as something small and meant to be cathartic for just him. But after the press release was distributed we were flooded with emails of support. Some of the emails received were allegedly from "elders" who wrote that they felt trapped in the religion and congratulated Jess for his bravery. I am not a JW so I did not have a full grasp of how big this would become. Some of the emails we received were nothing short of heart breaking. The exhibition of Leather Bound in Black or Red was online from February 20 to March 5. It was viewed by over 3000+ people from 6 different continents. We hope it gave people at least a tiny bit of strength.

This turned out to be a tough one for Jess. There were many emotional days as he was forced to think about things he had pushed down in his psyche for the last 15 years, but he has come through this stronger than ever. He has a great life in Los Angeles surrounded by many friends who love him. We just wanted to thank everyone who supported him. Without the emails of support we would not have made this exhibition as big as it was. THANK YOU!
