What I found humorous was that once, when my husband and I first began studying with the witnesses, we were invited to a "get together". A lot of folks were there and, growing up in a "church", well I just always said things like "when we go to church." I said something like this while we were there and I thought one sister's eyes would come out of her head. I saw the expression and asked her if I had said something wrong. She told me, "we don't say 'church', we say 'meetings'." How stupid!!
I deliberately call it church everytime I'm in her presence now...lol.
