Jesus really meant TWO OVERLAPPING GENERATIONS (not one)... Also, Jesus forgot to mention that this applies only to "annointed brothers" in high bethel positions...
Thank God we have the FDS to clarify this stuff... otherwise, we'd be completely lost.
Concerning "this generation", I don't think the Society care about how many times they have interpreted it. I reckon it will always figure out to be within the seventy year time-slot. They take generation to be three-score-years-and-ten (a la, Psalm 90:10) and will always amend their calculation to fall within this timescale. They figure that at some point they're gonna be right.
