Every year they have a few people who come out and suprise me. Rarely seems to happen with the American version.

Well I haven't watched the American version, but it strikes me Ant and Dec do a superb job of hosting the British show. They can inject humour spontaneously, such as when "where's me keys" guy was performing. Also David Walliams has been sensational as a judge this year, and seems to have Simon wrapped round his finger. If the chemistry of the judging/presenting is right, then anything else is just a bonus - and there have been some very good acts, two of which you highlighted in your OP.

It's a 'must watch' on a Saturday night here. And I just love David Walliams!

There seems to be more real talent in the British version. A good example is Susan Boyle who became an international sensation. I've tried watching the American version, but I just can't get into it.

Everyone has talent, and I am in no way implying that anyone is better than anyone else by my above statement.

Same thing is true about British Top Gear and American Top Gear...I don't think American Top Gear is going to last very long.

Maybe British people are better at admitting to themselves when they do not have talent. And perhaps Brits don't lie when asked questions like: "How do you like my singing? Dancing? Juggling? Etc. Etc." I make it a practice never to tell someone he or she sounds good if it isn't true. I usually say, well maybe you would sound better singing a different song or genre. I don't think that song works well with your kind of voice. Or something similar. And I do know people who can sing one kind of genre and sound great and then try another and sound terrible.
