WT out on jw.org now,,shows front page laptop being used on field service call along with sign language.
Will JWs soon be bringing a laptop for all door to door presentations in the future?

I would put a few gigabytes of apostate and Devil worship sites on the hard drive before going out in field circus with a laptop. That way, I could actually dog the calls by going to those sites instead of the rag I am supposed to be placing. Also, I would have something to read while waiting for a call--assuming the battery holds up long enough in the time I get stuck in field circus.
LOL, new presentation:
"Good morning, glad to find you at home, my partner and I would just like to show you an exiting glimpse of our new website where you can find out how to liveforeverinparadiseonearth. But what ever you do, don't google us."
I think the guy is deaf, looks like he has a hearing aid. Maybe they are showing him an ASL video?
Wouldn't want householders saying "take a look at this site jwfacts.com" now would we?
Laptop with a broadband connection and a search engine - you wish .
Looks like a portable DVD player to me....with a sign language propaganda videos, I would imagine.
thx,YB,,yes, I guess it looks more like a DVD player, smaller, I see.
I bet you MUST be logged into the site and activate cookies so they can track you and so you can log your TIME. The GREEDIES in Brooklyn are tired of counting slips of paper. Let the computer count the time and they can retire more bethel slaves.
TOTH,,interesting concept,,JWs "clocking" in their time,,then, the elders could save their time, just computerizing publisher cards. Then the computer within seconds could tally up all those millions of hours, Bible studies, and, poof, Worldwide Service Report done.
I guess they're going back to the days of pre-recorded phonograph machines for service... that way the GB can speak directly with the householder without the publisher diluting their glorious insight.

Right. And, if you think about it, ALL those record-player witnesses were of the "faithful and discrete slave" (partakers) back then and they STILL did not trust them enough to give their own message.
