Sic Semper Tyrannis
The best vocalist in The Band and its spiritual center. He also played guitar and mandolin, in addition to drumming. He was pretty broken up about the 1976 break-up and it took him years to recover. But it had a happy ending and he died as the most prolific solo artist to come out of The Band. I wish I lived in NY. I certainly would have come to one of his Midnight Rambles. Sad news indeed for rock music.
