Aw, Tal, I hope the little bird survives, too...
I rescued a baby sparrow last spring - kept it warm, in a snug cage, away from my cats....
I had to catch bugs and feed it bugs - yuk!!
Well, I kept trying to exercise its wings, and it got away from me, just before a miserable, cold, wet storm moved in.
It had hopped under our big spruce tree - impossible to catch it under there. So I kept my cats in, and hurried out the next morning.
The little guy - gal - had survived the night, and was hopping around in the branches of the spruce, as well as its little wings could manage.
To my surprise, its PARENTS showed up a little later in the day, and they both accepted it back! Amazing!!!

The most unusual - and telling - part, was the fact that the sparrow parents had apparently been watching for their child for a couple of days, and when the baby broke away from me, they stepped in, accepted the baby in spite of the fact that I'd been handling it, and took over their parenting roles again...

Just as HE used Talesin, to help a little one in distress
He uses others to help us to "fly" when needed

wounded FLY AGAIN -
