  Translation accuracy seems a crap shoot to me.

  The Bulgarian version says "..Steve had hit me the night before, when I was trying to prove to him that I was right". Russian mag says virtually the same....Also, in both versions Selma felt "sorry for herself."

  EDIT: I just noticed the caption to the picture on the same page. Three differend versions (and meanings) in three different languages:

  English: "Show concern for unbelieving mates"

  Russian: "Show interest to unbelieving men and women"

  Bulgarian: "Keep showing interest to unbelieving relatives"

  So, hmm, brothers, which one is it?

  Not that I don't wish ill upon the entire organization of Watchtower, but I am still glad the English printed version is the one to be studied in America. When is that to be studied?

  I think years ago, there were a couple of Spanish Bethelites,,that were translating and word was it emphasized more personal conscience, and more words of perhaps 'grace' (but not did not use that apostate 'word,' of course). They left Bethel, and eventually df'd for apostasy.

  Actually the Spanish Version will be the most widespread Watchtower being studied on Sunday in America (North, Central and South America)... English comes in at a close 2nd, Portugese 3rd.
