Does anyone here have the talk "36 - Is this life all there is", in audio format, that could share / send me?

I'll have to do it next month, and not in the mood / dont want to spend time with this...

Hi Jamir and welcome. You perhaps have the wrong impression of this forum which is excellent but mostly a resource for both active but unhappy JWs and ex JWs, providing knowledge about the Watchtower Society and support and comfort for those who have suffered at the society's hands. It may be that someone has the talk outline you need, most are kind and accommodating here.

I have been following this forum for some time now.

I am also an unhappy JW, who happens to HAVE to go to meetings and cause good impression because all my family, friends an wife are (obsessed) JWs... I was raised as a JW and only recently found the "truth" about the disgusting truth.

That's why I am here, asking for this talk... hoping to spend the minium ammount of time (and patience!) preparing a talk about something I do not agree.

I know it sounds hipocrit, but I have to be... for now.

Ah, sorry Jamir, I didn't realise. Just saw it was a first post and presumed lol. I'm sorry you're stuck in that situation, personally I don't see it as hypocritical, I see it as clever strategy. It's probably the wisest course when dealing with the WTBS who can damage so many relationships. I just feel sad for all of you that are trapped.

Can't help with any talks but could suggest you expose yourself to the Flu or come down with a terrible case of hoof and mouth disease. ANYTHING to get out of teaching the public the WT LIES. My heart goes out to you for the position you are in re your family relationships. Ask yourself what is more hypocritical pretending to be sick or going on pretending to believe.

I gave a dozen different talks regularly over the years in the 45-minute outlines. I gave Talk #36 maybe 3 dozen times. Sorry, I never saved a recording, I have deleted all my notes on all my talks. I can say that I rambled on about how our wonderful earth was definitely designed for our permanent residence upon it, rather than a short stay before going to some afterlife.
