Hi, ElderE, Mrs J and Satanus! Yes, Mrs J, the autumn season is upon us and Thor, with his love of the Earth and all things of nature, as well as humans, is bound to be brining his mighty influence to bear on our surroundings.
The weather man tells us a storm is evading our way, and I. Smiled to think of Thor readying his trusty hammer!
by the way, for anyone interested, and I know I'm not the only fan of Bernard Cornwell's books on Anglo-Saxon England, in which Thor plays a great part, Bernard Cornwell was being interviewed on BBC Radio 4 this morning. It was very interesting altogether, but I was most interested to learn that he grew up in Thundersley, in Essex. It's named after Thor, god of Thunder, of course, and the name means Thor's wood.

It is Thor's Day, it is pouring with rain so he's very active, and it's my birthday!!!!!!
I can't linger, but I want to invite you all to celebrate my birthday along with celebrating Thor's Day. Food and drink on me...come and join us! I've no time to be around for a few hours, but I'll look in later to see how my Thor-Birthday party is getting on!
