These guys are something else. Just because ONE detail of these "predecessor's" beliefs match up with GB present truth, they consider it a match. Funny stuff if they weren't serious.
I thought officially the WTS had backed off identifying these men before Russell as anointed (except for the 2 apostles).
Blondie - I don't think they've ever written or said specifically "these men were the faithful slave before the modern day slave". They say things like "George Storrs may very well have been....." And then 7 million witnesses read between the lines.
That way....they can always say "we never SAID that...it was just an expressed opinion"

All of those names are in the new WT on the Annual meeting with the disclaimer : We cannot say for sure which are of the anointed.
So I say : We cannot say for sure that the current GB are of the anointed....
The Jan 15 2012 Wt had a similar comment .
"Of course we cannot say for certain which individuals or groups belonged to the anointed wheat class "......[re. wheat & weeds growing together]
"Let us consider a few examples".
Then the same names are discussed
