Unless he said it in the context of "I want to get it annulled since I was a child then but look forward to getting re-baptized in the future as an adult" he will be watched VERY carefully.

My theory is, if a JW has two brain cells to rub together, he/she will have doubts. You can be certain.

It's impossible not to have doubts if you're capable of some degree of intelligence.

The problem is, JWs are taught to sit on them forever, otherwise known as "waiting in Jehovah". Some people get impatient doing this and manage to break free, others (the majority) continue to "wait" until their dying breath.

Never a more true statement. I bet this very fact accounts for 50% of the total JWs.

Last year a family of 7 left - husbands and wives - they all went at the same time

This month , 5 left in various congs. -again husbands AND wives

When you look at less getting baptized during the assemblies - they are going out as fast as coming in

Bio - I think there are quite possibly a LOT of witnesses just like your brother......but they tow the line anyway and they don't mutter a word of doubt because they don't know who they can trust. Wives, brothers, friends can all turn on you in a heartbeat and ruin your life.

My honest opinion is that there are thousands if not tens of thousands of witnesses that feel the same way your brother does....but.....who do they dare talk to?
