The "obey" message is loud and clear, and I think the kids are the secondary target audience.

Someone I'm really close to has been out for several years, but he's always held back on calling the JWs a cult. He just didn't want to go quite as far as using that word.
I showed this to him today, and at first he was POSITIVE it must be satire. Once I convinced him it was real, he was like "OK, eff it. They're a CULT. This is grotesque." He's a very quiet, rational, and calm person, and I've barely ever heard him even raise his voice. But he was truly INCENSED by this. I don't think I've ever heard him so livid.

I can't paste it, because I had to switch to firefox, but the third part with the singing does not show those children interacting with anyone but their parents. Considering how they mom made that dreadful face when a friend was mentioned, and that even in KH shot, the kids were only with their parents, I just find the entire thing weird.

this dvd makes me sick.
Essentially it shows that the watchtower knows that the 1st world countries are a loss for door to door.
They have turned their attention to keeping the children of those in already.
