I am impressed by your courage and determination. It took me 2 years to become a JW and 4 years to awake from it. And wasted 25 years in between. So Yes, it takes time. I am so glad that you didn't give up but have continued your journey in searching for the truth. You just have made the most important decision. You will not regret. We are here for you!
I fully agree and support on your desire to go to the college. I have a child your age and getting a master degree in a year. Education is the one thing I have never agreed with the WTS.
