He was 91. He wrote Fahrenheit 451 and The Maritan Chronicles.
I loved the Martian Chronicles. I didn't read the other but saw the movie.

We read him in English lit way back in the day, that's how I remembered the name
His books were the first science fiction I ever read, at the age of 11. Those from the 1950's science fiction age will never be replaced.
Yep, Ray Bradbury's books were the first scifi I ever read. Loved his books and short stories.
RIP RB
bummer, loved his books growing up
Me too, I devoured his books growing up, short stories, Martian Chronicles, Fahrenheit 451, whatever I could find.
Then loved seeing my children do the same. Great writer!
Poor guy..
--Didn't care much for his SciFi, but enjoyed his works of fantasy, like Something Wicked This Way Comes
Loved Something Wicked This Way Comes. Also loved The Illustrated Man.
RIP Ray
Ray, Robert Heinlein, Issac Asimov and Arthur C Clarke. Giants of the golden age of sci-fi.
