A brother who's wife had an affair outside the truth and got disfellowshipped sends emails out on a list every day and this is one he sent. This has come from my husband and this guy here so there must be something in it.
FYI, jws are totally notorious for urban myths--they're even in their own literature--and they work just like what you've described. They think it means they're true if 2 people repeat the same story.I happen to know they're false for a number of reasons, including the fact that I've been featured in their rumors committing sins I never committed.

I can't find the book that detailed all the madness a film director, sitcom director has to go through to make sure she is not using any intellectual property, trademark items, (One crazy story from this litigation book, was about an artist's painting, he sued a film maker, because his painting was hanging on the wall in the background scene. It surprised me how many hands are open for payments, which I thought was free good advertising! Go Figure!). The publication of this Trademark Law book was 1998-1999, I might have sold it or loaned it out, don't loan books out unless you plan on giving them away. They disappear to quick!
I tried to Google A^trade (Trademark defamation) and this list of items came up, weird and coincidental? It's some kind of Watchtower publication in a language I am not familiar with. I am guessing it's some kind of Island language, not Tagalog, any thoughts on this?

Rebel, how very true. I've encountered this so many times, and when I call them on it, I get the same response. "Am I a liar?" Always just black and white.

You know what just occurred to me about the lawsuits? Desperate bid for publicity. The fact that it is idiotic needn't disuade the WT from suing everyone. You know what all the no-talent celebrities who are caught with no panties or doing something ridiciulous are up to-putting to practice the theory that "There is no such thing as bad publicity" As much as i THINK this is all BS, I just got a glimpse of something about the Kardashians and remember that little empire started with some dead lawyers rich daughter getting caught in homemade porn. Think of all the no talents from the realitiy shows-they have tabloids now dedicated to their stupid post show antics.
9-11 was an evil terrorist act by extremeists that don't represent the religion, but it brought attention to Islam and it is growing by leaps and bounds in the states and elsewhere.
Maybe the WT is playing at that game? Who knows!

well the avg dub does truly believe that the WT is concerened about their personal welfare. Rumours like this propagate such bullshit and they WT never lifts a finger.

They would like us all to GIVE IN to the fear and intimidation that they teach and promote.
Their worst nightmare has manifested, namely that the Apostates TM have now united and now speak publicly about their hypocracy.

Their threats and intimidation only draw more bad attention to the JWs.

Ten years ago I wrote a book called Opening the Door to Jehovah's Witnesses, by Trevor Willis. It sold well. I even sent copies to the London Bethel.
Not a squeak or acknowledgement from the Tower. Mind you, my spies reported that many congregations made announcements warning the sheep not to read the book.
Well everyone knows that sheep can't read but the announcement helped my sales. Bah!
