Quentin,, that is good to read! It's disappointing to me that so many young people no longer read books .. good to hear that some kids are still reading the classic adventure novels. And Jack London! What great stories for kids to learn from. :))....talesin.
No doubt about it. Classics are great for kids, gives them a window on how people thought, acted and the cast system of that day and time.
kurtbethel, read ever Norton book I could get my hands on, until she turned to fantasy writing. Couldn't get into those novels. Have read every Heinlein book and short stories, except Stranger in a Stranger Land, with that book Heinlein began to get strange with his stories. It would be nice to see the right production company work up movies from his writing. Burroughs John Carter was a log floater.
