I wish my stupid dub parents bragged just once about their kids, just once!

This is so sad, and so true of so many JW parents. My wife and I always put our own family first. When we were still in an elder we really liked was called on the carpet for organizing a party when his oldest graduated from high school. JW's just can't bring themselves to celebrate individual accomplishment. Maybe that's why I like to holler when they do something good.

JeffT, CONGRATULATIONS to them both!! Great testamemt to how you raised them. They were smart to get those Science degrees.They must both be very bright and hardworking as science degrees are not easy.

You have every reason to brag and be proud of both of them. I heard on tv that college grads were having a hard time getting jobs unless they had science or math degrees.
