Pyramids and Dates

  Dear Watchtower Bible and Tract Society:

  Many years ago the WT had written a lot about how many feet there were between certain parts of the pyramid as related to some dates given by the WT organization. I don't know that any real Bible Student of that time had the opportunity to actually measure any part of the Great Pyramid-as it is in Egypt. I thought that after all of these years, maybe if you had the correct measurements, you would be able to more accurately make predictions.

  As it is, I live in Giza, Cairo, Egypt at this time and can be there in about half an hour, depending on traffic. If you would like, I could get you the real measurements and I am sure you could correlate them whatever dates will continue to encourage your followers. By the way, the Pyramids are lovely this time of year!

  If you are further interested in dates, it is well known that the best dates used to be in Iraq, but the orchards were destroyed during the recent conflicts the last 22 years or so, so now you get the best ones in Saudi Arabia, Medina is most popular in the MENA region. Just FYI

  True, those who constructed the pyramid didn't use the metric system, but they didn't use feet and inches either.

  In no way am I supporting C T Russell and his pyramidology twaddle but I was always under the impression that he had visited the pyramids with his friend Dr John Edgar who took the measurements and wrote on the subject. After his death, his younger brother, Morton Edgar continued to visit the site and write on the subject. He continued this until the early 1950's when he and also his sister died.

  actually russel was spot on w/ his pyramidology if u are a xian. the pyra in pyramid denotes fire or the sun. the pyramid of cheops as we know is one of the primary monuments and instruments of sun worship in the world. the masons acknowledge including the us seal.all religion is ultimately nature worship. if you believe the bible you better believe in sun worship, all the books show this. hell, even amen and sunday tell us this.look at the key words in xianity so many are connected to astrology and the sun. russel was more honest in presuming the pyramids were part of tge big picture if you believe thast nonsense.
